TPRNo5

Summary

The first dedicated gravel edition of the Trans Pyrenees Race saw riders arrive in San Sebastián with a wide range of setups and strategies, from road bikes to robust gravel machines and even hardtail mountain bikes. The mix of experience, equipment, and determination made for captivating dot-watching right to the end.

We saw 68 Green Leaderboard riders on the startline, up from 52 last year, with this year’s winner, fastest woman, and fastest pair all choosing overland travel to and from their successful races.

We now look ahead to TPRNo6, when the race returns to its roots and the winding, storied roads of the Pyrenees — with no (mandatory) gravel required.
