In the Race Manual, we say how it is no surprise that the most prepared will be the most successful. The planning, preparation and execution of Christoph's Race was fantastic, and the balance of strategy and tactics that underpinned his athleticism meant he put in a brilliant ride. This win is also set in the context of arguably the strongest field of riders we have ever had on the TCR, and who pushed Christoph all the way to the line, riding brilliantly themselves and keeping everyone at home glued to screens as the rider’s dots made their way across Europe, to the finish.
